In U.S., professors use a lot of technology equipment to show slides and movies.
Beside, he can show how the software work.
Students in the class can take their laptop to see read the material on web and use the laptop to do a lot of works.
of course , using internet means browsing some unrelated websites and chat on MSN.
I found it is very interesting that professors doesn't care students are focus on their class or not.
They just teach what they want to teach . When time is up, the class dismisses.
That's why I can type down my blog in class, now.

Students use Mac a lot, compare to other brand here.
The most popular laptop brand is Dell. the second one is Mac.
So far now, I have not seen an ASUS laptop here.
